Fund to Aid Students of Elizabethtown (FASE)


The Fund to Aid Students of Elizabethtown (FASE) assists students with emergency, temporary, and unexpected expenses. Assistance may be given only once per individual and must be related to the educational experience.

Examples of emergency expenses:

  • Child care emergencies
  • Clothing
  • Emergency related travel
  • A variety of expenses which do not conflict with financial aid administration through the institution

Who is eligible?

Recipients must be full-time students at Elizabethtown College or residents of Elizabethtown, PA who are full-time students in any other accredited college or university's undergraduate program.

How can you help?

You can support the FASE Fund program by making a tax deductible contribution to the Fund. 

The FASE Fund is set up as an endowed fund at Elizabethtown College.  All gifts made to the FASE Fund are permanently restricted to the Fund.  Only a portion of the appreciated value will be used each year to make grants.

How can a student apply?
Students who believe they may be eligible should do one of the following:

  • Contact high school guidance counselor
  • Speak to an Elizabethtown College advisor
  • Call a member of the committee
  • Contact the Office of College Life at Elizabethtown College

Applicants are required to write a letter detailing the problem and obtain a letter of support.  Detailed instructions are available at any of the above locations.
