A Capella Group Phalanx Places In Top 30 At National Competition

Elizabethtown College's all-male a cappella group, Phalanx, placed in the top 30 schools during the annual International Championships of A Cappella.

This international tournament showcases the art of student a cappella and takes place each spring in six regions:  West, Midwest, South, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Europe.  Having placed second in the quarterfinals at Rutgers University, Phalanx earned a spot as one of the top 30 a cappella groups in the nation.  In addition, Nathan Shughart '12 earned the Outstanding Choreography award for the group's performance of "Don't Stop Me Now."  Visit the ICCA site for complete tournament results.
